Owner Operator / Independent Contractor Opportunities Bruin Express Intermodal has utilized Owner Operator / Independent Contractors since the inception of the company. We have a unique mix of freight that allows us to utilize 3-axle tractors. We operate out of all of the Southern California Rail Ramps as well as all of the piers. In addition to our Intermodal Drayage, we have local line haul moves and short regional line haul moves. The insurance provided is less than $50.00 per week and all of Contract Drivers make very good money. Prospective Contractors must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience with a Class–A drivers license and must be at least 25 years of age.
